Remember that one time I wrote a blog about being patient & trusting in The Lord’s timing? Well, I (finally) took my own advice and here we are. ENGAGED!
I still don’t have enough words to explain how full my heart is… so I’m just going to share these pictures & hope that they tell their own story.
November 18, 2018 is one I’ll never forget, thanks to my future hubby and my amazing coworkers.
It’s officially been a month & I’m still trying to grasp the idea that I am getting married.
This was the sweetest day. It was filled with so much love, happy tears, and celebration.
Everyone was able to play a part in this beautiful moment and were able to help Jordan put together the most breathtaking proposal.
Misty had texted myself and the other coordinators that she needed us to come up to work on Sunday afternoon to “get our input on the chapel & new office”
If you don’t know by now, Eberley Brooks is in the process of building 3 new venues, The Sage Chapel, Salle De David, and our new office.
(which will open in exactly 1 MONTH!! eeeeeeek!!!!)
Anywho… so I arrived to the office and then we all headed over to the chapel.
I was the first one to walk into the chapel (good coordination, girls) & next thing I know,
the door was shutting behind me and I was welcomed with an aisle of rose petals, candles, and Jordan standing around the corner.
My heart sank.
It was the sweetest moment and the words that he spoke, I’ll never forget.
I can’t say thank you enough to my sweet friends for helping Jordan pull this off (& keeping a secret for SO long!)
The Lords timing is so perfect.
I thought I had it all planned out… I’m such an instigator. But nope. I knew n o t h i n g & I’m so glad that I didn’t.
We will be getting married on a Sunday morning this May in The Sage Chapel, where it all began.
I’ll be writing more about tips and tricks when it comes to planning a wedding on a budget, how to enjoy the little things, and being a bride AND a wedding coordinator.
Stay tuned, friends.
Getting engaged soon and need the perfect place to pop the question? Eberley Brooks has my vote.
