There are so many great things to say about Ashley and not enough words in the world to describe who she is as a person.

But just to name a few, Ashley is energetic, fun, and so willing to make whatever happen, happen!

Tell me about yourself & your business.

My name is Ashley Saed, and I am the owner/lead photographer of Living Tree Designs! We are a local wedding photography company that specializes in creating unique and fun images for brides to cherish for a lifetime! I am also a Mom of two, wife, volunteer firefighter, and I teach photography in my spare time.

How did you get started? 

My love of photography started at a young age, and I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember, but I never knew that I could actually make a career out of it until I was much older. After high school, ended up going to culinary school and got my start in weddings as an executive chef and then moved into wedding and event planning. During this time, I had picked photography back up as an adult and went back to school to learn photography and graphic design and since weddings and events have always been a passion of mine, specializing in wedding photography was the perfect fit! I absolutely love what I do and am so blessed to have found my calling!

How long have you been in business &

what sets you apart from others in the industry?

I have been in business for 4 and a half years! It’s been such an amazing journey starting my own business and honing my craft! I think what sets me apart from others, is that not only do I know and love wedding photography, I can actually plan and execute a wedding from start to finish!

What do you love most about your job?

Getting to know my brides and grooms! Everyone has such unique and beautiful stories and I love that I get to be a part of such an amazing time in their lives.

How long have you been married?

I’ve been married 6 and a half years to the love of my life.

Not only is he an amazing and supportive husband, he is an even better Dad and a rockstar at working my Photo Booth!

Where did you get married? 

We got married at First Baptist Church in Smyer, Texas where my husband is the music minister.

We had a gorgeous candle light wedding a few days after Christmas!

What would you have changed about your wedding? 

I would have let other help me plan. As a wedding and event planner I did everything myself and should not have done that.

I wish I would have spent more time being in the moment vs planning all of the details.

What is something interesting about you others don't know?

I am a volunteer firefighter, I love storm chasing, and I hate it when people touch my elbows.

If you were in a rock band what part/role would you play?

Ohh that’s a hard one.

Being married to a musician has made me appreciate which roll everyone plays in a band, but if I would have to choose, it would be the bass player.

The bass player holds steady and keeps everyone else in the band together and on beat.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Weather photography, playing with my kiddos, and I’m currently training for my first 5k!
