Tell me about yourself!
I was born in Lubbock, moved to Minnesota when I was 2 and then moved to Austin when I was 9!
I was in Austin until I graduated High School, where I came back to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University! I graduated from there in 2016 with a Restaurant, Hotel, Institutional Management degree and have been in the restaurant industry ever since!
I am getting married in 11 days (aaahhh!) to my college sweetheart, we have been together for 10 years! We have a 7 year old son!
What made you choose the food/catering industry?
I choose the food industry because I am a mover and groover! I love the fact that no 2 days are ever alike, and that I get to grow/coach/develop people from all walks of life and dreams, passions, goals.
I get to work in an industry where I get to daily make big differences and impacts for both our guests and our Team Members, and that is something that is important to me.
If you weren't a caterer, what would you be doing?
If I wasn't in the food industry I would be in some form of people business! I love being able to talk to people, interact with people and make impacts for people.
Knowing that I have been able to help someone, in any way, makes me feel accomplished!
Tell me about what sets you apart from other caterers.
What sets us apart from other caterers is that we have a true passion for BBQ and positive experiences!
We are willing to do whatever it takes to make our guests feel happy, satisfied and as if they truly matter to us...even if it's not something we normally do!
The employee's that we have are willing to go above and beyond and do whatever we can to make sure that all our guests have the absolute best experience at their event.
What is your favorite thing about your job?
The people! Both the ones that work for me and the people that choose to come in and see us!
People have so many different experiences, from so many different walks of life, that I am able to continually grow and learn.
What do you like to do on your free time?
In my free time I love to spend time with my little family...between tball and flag football we stay pretty busy!
When we get the chance we take our race car to the track and make some noise!
If you had a magic power, what would it be and why?
I would want to be able to read people's minds...crazy I know!
But I would want to use it so that I could know how to exceed people's expectations, and truly create experiences for the people that I come in contact with to be the best that they could be.
Tell us something interesting about you!
After being in the restaurant industry for 16 years, I was able to meet my personal goal of running my own restaurant by the time I was 30!
Favorite holiday?
Thanksgiving! Having passion for food, this is the perfect holiday! Plus every 4 years it's my birthday!
It's a hot summer day, you're sitting on your front porch, what are you sippin' on?
Ice cold Bud Light or a Sweet Iced Tea! I am a Southern girl to the core!
It's a cold winter night, you're cozied up on your couch watching your favorite movie, what are you watching?
Dirty Dancing! Brings back memories of watching with my mom!
