We are happy to introduce you to Devault Floral is one of our preferred vendors. Below is a little bitt about her.

I grew up in Plainview, Texas and graduated from Wayland Baptist University with my bachelors of Marketing and Management. I spent many years in the banking industry climbing the corporate ladder before pursuing my dream of owning my own business. We have owned Devault Floral since 2011. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and we have been married 18 years. We have 4 sons with ages ranging from 15-7. They are very active in sports and keep us very busy. We love Jesus. And soon, we can be found doing work around our farm with our dogs and other animals. We are moving to our new house next month (July) on 18 acres and we have big plans and we are very excited. We look forward to working with you and 

How did you get into floral design? 

I’ve always loved expressing myself through creativity. I love making things. And floral design is so rewarding.

What made you start your own floral business?

After over a decade of being in the banking industry I was ready for a change. An opportunity came up and I jumped in with both feet. Nearly 10 years later I am still going strong and loving every bit of it! We have even won Best of Lubbock 2017 & 2019. 

What are you favorite flowers?

I love anemones in every color! I love garden roses just as much! I make sure I have at least a few David Austin rose bushes growing around my house. I love the season when my roses sing to me.

What should every bride know about You?

I don’t see anyone as a number. Each and every bride is special and I develop a love for her like family. I design a it’s her in mind and it really does come from my heart and soul. She needs to know she is prayed for and loved through the whole process. 

What should every bride know about florals?

Be sure to keep an open mind. Sometimes what you see in pictures isn’t always what it seems. Our fellow photographers does amazing things with flowers and so sometimes the flowers look more vibrant or subdued than they really are. This makes for an amazing photograph but it may create a false hope for the actual flower.

Trust your florist and know that they have your best interest at heart and they know your vision and will do whatever it takes to make it happen.

Are their any myths are florals in the wedding industry?

Many people believe that to go simple you can just use greenery and that will save you money. Greenery is as costly as floral. It will give your a much more simple look, your price tag may appear similar as if you used Floral all along.
