Meet Misty!

Meet Misty she is a seeker of beauty and believer that love always wins. She is simple and detailed. By nature she is an introvert who loves retreating to quiet places to have time to process her heart. She also loves planning and making parties come to life for others as well. When asked what part she would play in a rock band - she answered the stage crew -- "I want to set others up to succeed." "I believe Grace found me and Love saved me. That Jesus Christ died for my sins, died a sinners death and three days later raised from the dead and is returning again one day. I believe there are breathtaking moments that wrap themselves up in ordinary Mondays if we take time to see them. I believe that hospitality is not about having a perfect home or party but rather making your guest feel welcomed and loved".
Her Love Story | Austin and Misty met in College at Dallas Baptist University. She was working for his sister and brother in law at the time. It was an instant mutual connection, however, it wasn’t until he told her something straightforward that she knew he was “THE ONE”. "I had been working on campus hosting a summer camp, it was 110 degrees in Dallas, Texas and I was “DONE” working! I had texted him my complaints of the day and his reply was …. “ IT’S NOT ABOUT YOU…” I almost chunked my phone in one of the fifty fountains on campus.. I was ticked and more in love with this man all without a moment’s notice. It was then that I knew if he could point me back to Jesus as a friend - he would lead me to Jesus daily as his wife…. I knew without a doubt he was the one I wanted to marry"…. now 10 years later and married, they have 3 beautiful kids, Eberley (4) Sage (2) , Callaghan (1) and 2 beautiful labradors dogs.
Her prayer for couples: “May your marriage always bring glory to God, joy to one another and blessings to your family for many generations to come. May love and laughter fill your hearts and your home for all at the days of your lives. May you face every challenge hand-in-hand and side-by-side knowing that with God’s grace, you’ll conquer all obstacles together.
