The first time I met Chandler, I thought he was 30 years old. Not because of his looks, but because of his maturity and level of responsibility. The more I worked with Chandler, the more I realized how much I loved working with him. I’m so glad Misty and Tony decided to approach Chandler to be a DJ for EBE. In his answers he talks about being blessed by EBE, but Chandler is definitely a blessing to all of us here.
How did you get started in the DJ business?
I got started as a DJ through Eberley Brooks Events. I began as their sound tech before evolving and taking my first steps into the DJ world. Wouldn't be where I am today without their help and trust, but it also came from G-d. It was never something I asked for, but he put me here through a string of events, doing what I do, and it's a true blessing. I love what I do and the people I work with, so I plan to take this as far as I can. Hopefully reaching bigger and greater goals.
What is your favorite part about being a DJ?
My favorite part about this job is absolutely the music and the audio. I'm fascinated by sound. Getting to work with the different dynamics of sound and learning is what draws me in.
What is one thing that sets you a part from others in your industry?
I would probably have to say my age. I’m 20 years old in an industry with generations of knowledge.
What is something that not many people don’t know about you?
I actually hated noise as a child. I couldn't stand music in the car as a baby. I wanted it off, and I wanted to hear nothing. That disappeared around the age of 9 or 10, and I think it is slightly ironic.
What do you do in your free time?
In my free time I'm currently learning video editing, but I also like to hang out with friends and have a good time.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would love to see absolute wilderness. Anywhere with trees, mountains, and water. No people. Completely alone for a couple days.
