Southern Elegance Design

Southern Elegance Design does such great work! We are so honored to have them at our venue to show off all of the various things they provide! It is run by a wonderful woman named Shelley! She and her team are such hard workers, and always go above and beyond to make sure everything looks perfect!

Here is a message from the sweet lady herself:

"Hi! my name is Shelley Melton with Southern Elegance Wedding and Events. I am a veteran

of sorts, going on year 13 years of helping brides create their dream wedding! We are exclusive

in Lubbock and surrounding areas in that we offer coordination, floral design, catering, and

have an in-house baker! We are your one-stop shop and we love EBE!

I have been married to my sweet husband Kenny for 36 years. We have 3 great kids Erin,

32, Bailey 28, and Tucker 25. We would love to travel more, but as you may guess my

weekends stay pretty full!

I enjoy the floral aspect of my job most, as well as meeting new families. I find it a great

challenge to understand the bride’s vision and make it work financially and aesthetically for

them. I also enjoy high-pressure situations where we have to figure out how to solve a

problem in a short period of time! Crazy, I know but such a rush when you have solved a

problem and the bride never knows.

I am not alone in all that is created! I have a wonderful staff of around 20 people that keeps

everything running smoothly. I have about 4 “right-hand women” who I absolutely could not

do without! I love to work with the staff at EBE!"

Shelley and her team are such a great vendor to have on our list. Food, florals and bar… they can do all of that! She has a great team who help make sure that everything is taken care of and it really helps put our brides and families at ease. You can tell that she puts her heart into every event and I admire that so much!! I look forward to all of the events we do together in the future.
